“Mama, who made all these beautiful things?” she would ask. In response, her mama would smile and say, “Allah, Al-Musawwir, the Fashioner of Shapes, created everything with love and care. Furthermore, He’s the One who makes the world so beautiful.”

Ilma’s eyes would sparkle with wonder. Similarly, her heart would fill with gratitude for the beauty of Allah’s creation.

One sunny morning, while walking in the park, Ilma saw a pigeon eating grains. Suddenly, she noticed that its neck shone with rainbow colors in the sunlight.

Ilma tugged at her mama’s hand and asked, “Mama, who painted the pigeon’s neck with rainbow colors?” Her mama replied, “Ilma, look at the flowers, the sky, the trees, and the pigeon. Meanwhile, think about who made all of this.”

Ilma thought for a moment. Then, she exclaimed, “It’s Allah! He made everything so beautiful!” Her mama hugged her. “Yes, my dear. Allah is Al-Musawwir, the Creator of everything. Moreover, every flower, every feather, every leaf is His perfect design.”

As they continued their walk, Ilma noticed even more beauty – the way the light shone through the trees, the sound of the breeze, and the flowers blooming all around her. Consequently, she felt happy and thankful for everything Allah created.

“Mama,” Ilma said softly, “I’m so glad Allah made the world so beautiful.” Her mama smiled. “When we stop and look at the world, we remember how great Allah is and how much He loves beauty.”
